- Do I have to pay for my hotels?
- Nope! CCA takes care of your lodging, food, and transportation during camps
- Do I get time off?
- Yes! There are opportunities to have time off depending on what private camps you are scheduled to work. You normally get the 4th of July holiday off as well.
- What if I have cheer camp with my college team?
- Time off for college camp must be approved ahead of time, but this isn`t typically an issue.
- How long will I be gone?
- Camps run until the first week of August, but there are opportunities to have time off, as well.
- Do I need to be able to tumble?
- Tumbling skills are strongly preferred, however, some circumstances allow for staffers who do not have tumbling skills.
- What do I have to do prior to arriving at Work Week?
- If you are selected to be a part of the summer staff, you will be sent the summer material, and you will be expected to know it upon arrival.
- How many people are normally on summer staff?
- We typically have 20-25 cheer staff, plus an additional 5-7 administrative staff.
- Where are other staffers from?
- Our staff comes from programs all over the country!
- Do you have interns?
- Yes! They are typically cheerleaders in between their junior and senior year in high school.
- Are there any age restrictions?
- At the time of your application, you should be at least graduating high school. Most of our staffers are college cheerleaders and coaches, or have stayed current in the industry. All of our staff instructors have a love for cheerleading and a love for Jesus.
- When do I start?
- Work week typically begins the last Friday in May. Firm dates will be communicated to you upon notification of employment.
- Do I get paid?
- Yes!
